How the audio works
Point your camera
Each stop has a small QR code sign. Point your phone camera at it. No app download, no account, no data collection.
Listen offline
Audio files are cached in your browser. Once played, they work without signal. The files are small (under 3MB per route).
Written transcript
Every audio recording has a written transcript on the same page. If you prefer reading, or if you are in a quiet temple, the text is there.
Your map works alone
The washi map has everything: the route line, stop numbers, cafe locations, and a return path. If your phone dies, you are not lost.

Every route includes four local spots. Here is what a typical entry looks like:
Murayama Shokudo
Counter only. Order the morning set before 9am. Cash only.
Ichikawa Coffee
Roasts own beans. The owner speaks some English. Good for a mid-route break.
Takahashi Tofu
Makes tofu fresh daily. The yudofu (tofu hot pot) is available after 11am.
Endo Tea House
Matcha and wagashi. Closes at 4pm. No photography inside.
